Scientific Program – June 11-15

The theme of this year’s conference is "Health Promotion Comes of Age: Research, Policy and Practice for the 21st Century". The objective is to renew commitment to health promotion with a review of the charter’s principles, action strategies and determinants of health to determine its relevance for the 21st century. By linking policy, practice and research, the 19th IUHPE World Conference will enhance partnerships and intersectoral collaborations for health promotion. It will be a truly international venture that will take into account the needs and concerns of health promotion at a global level and encourage members to come from all corners of the world to celebrate the renewal of the Ottawa Charter.

Conference Exhibition and Trade Show – June 10-14

Located in Exhibit Halls B and C of the Vancouver Convention and Exhibition Centre, the 19th IUHPE World Conference Exhibition and Trade Show will involve an anticipated 100+ exhibitors from national and international markets. The conference exhibition will take place over four days, and will include representatives from non-profit, educational, small business, government, and corporate markets both from within Canada and internationally. As a major sponsor to the 19th IUHPE World Conference, you will receive preferred space in our exhibit hall, increasing your visibility and ability to network effectively with conference delegates and participants.
