The venue for the conference is the Vancouver Convention and Exhibition Centre (VCEC). Registration, social gatherings, conference administration facilities, and all plenary sessions will be held in the VCEC. The program of concurrent and sub-plenary sessions will be scheduled within the VCEC and its two adjoining hotels, the Pan Pacific and the Fairmont Waterfront.
The deadline for Early Bird Registration is February 28th, 2007. It is recommended that you register before February 28th, 2007 to save up to $500 on your registration fee. To register, click here.

Yes, all registered delegates will receive two nutrition breaks and one lunch per day.

Retirees are considered to be 65 years and over. Retirees save up to $600 off of their registration fee if they book before February 15th, 2007. To register, click here.

You must contact the nearest IUHPE Regional Office and request an IUHPE Member to sponsor you for the 19th IUHPE Conference Scholarship Application.
All scholarship applications must be received by the Conference Office no later than February 15th, 2007.
When you are submitting your abstract, step 5 will allow you to download and print an application. If you submitted an abstract and missed step 5 you can go back, enter your abstract as a draft and re-submit it. You will then have another opportunity to complete step 5 and print a student award application. If your abstract has already been reviewed, then unfortunately your abstract will not be considered for a Student Award. Click here to submit your abstract.
To register as a student to attend the Conference, you must have a valid student number and you must provide the name of your institution.

The Conference Office is currently applying for support to offset the cost for community groups and organizations to attend. The bursary program will offer partial bursaries for registration and travel costs only. Keep checking the website for information as it will be posted as it becomes available. Community organizations can also pursue funding for presenting their work, disseminating information and/or capacity-building activities in order to support someone to attend.
