Conference Organizing Committees

The 19th IUHPE World Conference on Health Promotion and Health Education is produced by the Canadian Consortium for Health Promotion Research (CCHPR) as the host of the International Union for Health Promotion and Health Education ("IUHPE"). The Canadian Consortium for Health Promotion Research is a corporation without share capital created by letters patent issued by the federal government of Canada.

The conference organization has been purposely constructed to balance logistical realities with the need to facilitate as much active, broad participation as possible in the development of Canada 2007. The CCHPR has established committees to organize and develop the best possible program:

These committees function in descending levels of decision-making authority and ascending levels of responsibilities for the detailed, everyday work of developing the conference.

International Scientific Program Committee (ISPC)

The ISPC has ultimate decision-making authority and is officially given this authority by the Board of Trustees of IUHPE.
